Last year, I surprised my husband with a spontaneous birthday cruise on Royal Caribbean. We sailed on a 5-day cruise to Cabo San Lucas, and somewhere between the ocean views, great food, and the fact that I didn't have to cook or make the bed, I fell in love with cruising.

We had an amazing time, but that wasn't by accident.

As with most things in life, I did what I do best—I researched everything. I wanted to make sure we could relax and enjoy ourselves instead of spending our vacation stressed out or wondering if we forgot something important.

Turns out, I enjoyed planning almost as much as the trip itself.

Before long, I found myself talking about travel, sharing cruise tips, and giving vacation advice to friends and family...sometimes even when they didn't ask for it. (Occupational hazard, I guess!)

That's when I realized that helping people plan vacations wasn't just something I enjoyed—it was something I genuinely loved.

Why Helping People Matters

Life gets busy.

Between work, responsibilities, and everything else that demands our attention, it's easy to put off the things that bring us joy. I believe travel gives us the opportunity to reconnect with ourselves and the people we love.

Some of my favorite memories have come from simply stepping away from everyday life and sharing experiences with the people who matter most.

Helping others create those same memories—and removing some of the stress that can come with planning—is incredibly rewarding to me. I love knowing that long after the suitcases are unpacked, the memories made on those trips will still bring smiles and stories for years to come.

I have earned certifications and partnerships with Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean, and Princess Cruises, and I'm continually expanding my knowledge to better serve my clients. I'm currently working on becoming an expert in Alaskan cruising and building partnerships with more all-inclusive resorts.
